Construction Reinforcement Specialist

Description:

The Construction Reinforcement Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the structural integrity of concrete structures by effectively positioning and securing steel reinforcement bars.

This involves meticulously determining the number, size, shape, and location of reinforcing rods from blueprints or verbal instructions.

Selecting and placing rods in forms, spacing and fastening them together using wire and pliers is another critical task.

Cutting bars to required lengths using hacksaws, bar cutters, or acetylene torches is also a crucial responsibility.

Maintenance and repair of equipment are essential skills for this role.

Additionally, reinforcing concrete with wire mesh and welding reinforcing bars together using arc-welding equipment are common tasks performed by Construction Reinforcement Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
