  • We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Steel Reinforcement Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in reinforcing concrete forms with steel bars and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the number, sizes, shapes, and locations of reinforcing rods from blueprints or oral instructions, and selecting and placing rods in forms, spacing and fastening them together using wire and pliers.
  • Additionally, the individual will cut bars to required lengths using hacksaws, bar cutters, or acetylene torches, and may bend steel rods with hand tools or rodbending machines.
  • In some cases, the specialist may also reinforce concrete with wire mesh or weld reinforcing bars together using arc-welding equipment.
