Job Title: Reinforcement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Reinforcement Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with steel reinforcement and be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with others.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Positioning and securing steel bars in concrete forms to reinforce concrete.
  • Determining the number, sizes, shapes, and locations of reinforcing rods from blueprints, sketches, or oral instructions.
  • Selecting and placing rods in forms, spacing and fastening them together using wire and pliers.
  • Cutting bars to required lengths using hacksaw, bar cutters, or acetylene torch.
  • Bending steel rods with hand tools or rodbending machine.
  • Reinforcing concrete with wire mesh.
  • Welding reinforcing bars together using arc-welding equipment.
