Commercial Bank Business Credit Manager

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Business Credit Manager to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our Commercial Lending Management Unit, you will be responsible for providing expert credit risk management and analysis to support our business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Interface with bankers to underwrite commercial credit extensions for new and existing clients, ensuring sound credit decisions and compliance with internal procedures and credit risk policy guidelines.
- Prepare detailed written credit summaries of commercial applicants, analyzing business and financial information to render final credit decisions.
- Perform financial analysis on companies, including trend and ratio analysis, to assess repayment capacity and creditworthiness.
- Conduct credit and personal financial statement analysis on individuals, guarantors, and co-borrowers to assess repayment capacity.
- Perform industry and geographical research and other due diligence as needed to ensure accurate credit assessments.
- Maintain a solid understanding of Citibank products and services, including Small Business/Commercial Banking and the broader organization.
- Ensure compliance with Citibank credit policies, practices, and regulatory policies to maintain a high level of credit quality and risk management.
- 2-5 years of prior experience in credit risk management or equivalent training and experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize, and drive results with a high sense of urgency.
- Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects.
- Effective interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills.
