We are seeking a highly skilled DC Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, as well as experience managing 24x7 data centre operations.
Job Description- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the data centre, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Lead BCP exercises and be the first-level incident responder, responsible for identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Fulfill customer requests and manage systems such as the Electronic Visitation Management System.
- Provide remote hand support for media management, visual inspections, device reboots, staging, physical connect/disconnect of HDDs, network cable testing, and fire SFP insertion.
- Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Computer & Communications Engineering, or Information & Digital Technologies; or Technical education (e.g., ITE) with 5 years of relevant experience managing 24x7 DC operations.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical systems, fire detection, building management, and critical facilities construction.
- Good communication and people management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
