Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing VSMC MES to drive production efficiency and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing MES solutions customized to optimize production processes, streamline workflows, and boost manufacturing productivity.
  • Continuously assessing and enhancing MES capabilities to meet evolving production requirements, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal operational disruptions.
  • Generating and managing comprehensive reports on production and manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Taking charge of MES projects from initiation to conclusion, defining scope, managing timelines, and providing regular progress updates.
  • Proactively monitoring MES performance, pre-emptively identifying potential system issues, and implementing preventive measures to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Conducting regular maintenance of MES software and hardware, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring systems operate at peak performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Experience with database management and maintenance in DB2 or Oracle.
  • Proven track record in MES system development, integration, and optimization in a semiconductor environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
