Accounting Professional Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage client accounts, reconcile bank and vendor accounts, and prepare timely reports on Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), Bank Reconciliation, and other supporting schedules in accordance with our accounting policies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Manage client accounts and liaise with clients locally or overseas;
  • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts, post to and balance the general ledger, process payments, and compile segments of monthly or quarterly or yearly closings;
  • Resolve accounting queries and address issues that arise from client portfolios;
  • Verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information received;
  • Prepare timely reports on P&L, BS, Bank Reconciliation, and other supporting schedules in accordance with our accounting policies;
  • Assist clients in setting up their business flow and handling payroll when required;
  • Experience in compilation report preparation is an advantage;
  • Ensure clients' compliance with all statutory obligations;
  • Perform any other ad hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in a related field and preferred with experience in maintaining full sets of accounts;
  • Fluency in English/Mandarin is essential as the role involves direct communication with our Local/Chinese clients;
  • Knowledge of Xero is an added advantage;
  • Possess good accounting knowledge;
  • Possess good time management, planning, and organizing skills;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and co-workers;
