Skilled Maintenance Carpenter Wanted

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in remodeling and repairing various aspects of buildings, including cabinets, counters, shelves, tables, and furniture. They will be responsible for tasks such as:

  • Remodeling and repairing cabinets, counters, shelves, tables, and furniture as required;
  • Replacing and repairing door closures and locks;
  • Building and repairing walls, partitions, doorways, window frames, stairs, and roofs;
  • Installing window glass and screens;
  • Applying wall and floor covering materials;
  • Installing and repairing ceramic and other tiles;
  • Refinishing furniture and painting and staining building interiors and exteriors.

The successful candidate will also supervise less skilled carpenters and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard. To be considered for this role, applicants must have at least 5 years' experience in carpentry or a related field, excellent technical skills and knowledge of building codes and regulations, strong communication and leadership skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong attention to detail.
