Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Engineer to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care Singapore Pte. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our dialysis units in the country, conducting minor repairs and inspections of Reverse Osmosis systems, and liaising with the Technical Service Manager on technical activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule preventive maintenance for all equipment to minimize downtime
  • Ensure all services are carried out on time and in a professional manner
  • Provide local support in executing necessary repairs, retrofits, and technical modifications as required by the Global Technical Team
  • Educate staff in hospitals on the operation of our machines
  • Maintain an adequate spare part kit and ensure all modules are repaired
  • Issue service reports upon completion of all installations, repair jobs, and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure all service reports are input into the Technical Service Database and hardcopy service reports are submitted on a regular basis for selected external customers
  • Maintain a database on all equipment sold and on trial or loan on a monthly basis
  • Troubleshooting support by telephone and email
  • Support Customer Service with technical enquiries
Requirements
  • Biomedical degree preferable for Hemodialysis/Peritoneal Dialysis service
  • Suitable Electronic and/or plumbing qualifications
  • Knowledge of dialysis therapy would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of RO systems would be an added advantage Hemodialysis
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize, organize own work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work in a team, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and at times pressurizing environment
