The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with 12+ years of total experience and a minimum of 4 years of cloud management expertise. Key responsibilities include leading infrastructure projects, optimizing system performance, managing incidents/problems/changes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing and implementing secure, high-availability infrastructure solutions across hybrid environments, focusing on scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Managing and optimizing Azure services, including compute, networking, storage, IAM, and backup/recovery solutions.
- Administering and maintaining VMware, Hyper-V; configuring and optimizing SAN/NAS storage.
- Designing and managing disaster recovery strategies, backup policies, and high-availability solutions to minimize downtime.
- Handling Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL framework), ensuring service reliability and compliance.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning infrastructure for performance and cost optimization.
- Applying security best practices across systems and networks, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Leading infrastructure projects end-to-end, coordinating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver within scope and timelines.
- Mentoring junior engineers, sharing best practices, and fostering knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex IT infrastructures across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows), networking, storage, virtualization (VMware, Nutanix), and cloud platforms (Azure).
- Proven ability to optimize system performance, manage incidents/problems/changes, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
