We are seeking a Genetic Counsellor to provide comprehensive genetic counselling services for patients referred to our cardiovascular genetics service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient intakes, analyse genetic variants, coordinate testing processes and deliver clear counselling guidance.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to handle referrals, contribute to research initiatives and provide genetic education to healthcare professionals.
- A Master's degree in Genetic Counselling or an equivalent qualification is required.
- At least 2 years' relevant clinical experience with demonstrated competency in genetic counselling is essential.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer software including MS Office, databases, presentations and pedigree drawing software is necessary.
