Project Lead - Banking Solutions

We are seeking an experienced project lead with strong expertise in Core Banking solutions to oversee end-to-end project delivery across various initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, governance, stakeholder management, and ensuring the successful implementation of projects within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage Core Banking projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely completion, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Define project scope, objectives, governance structure, and resource plan in alignment with business goals and strategies.
  • Drive project planning, risk management, issue resolution, and change management processes to ensure minimal disruptions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business users, technology partners, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and report financials against forecasts to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and executive updates to senior stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Lead UAT planning, cutover, go-live activities, and post-implementation support to ensure smooth transitions and minimize business disruption.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT / Banking with at least 5+ years in project leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in Core Banking implementations or upgrades, with a strong knowledge of T24 modules such as Retail, Corporate, Payments, Treasury, Trade Finance, Lending, or Wealth.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid) and experience working in regional or global banking environments.
  • Familiarity with banking operations, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills, with excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination abilities.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications preferred, but not essential.

  • Mid-Senior level with a proven track record in leading complex projects.
