Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage the Centre/laboratory daily operations to ensure readiness for teaching and learning activities.
  • Propose and monitor budget for laboratory materials/components/tools/equipment/consumables.
  • Source, purchase, and replenish sufficient levels of materials/components/tools/equipment/consumables.
  • Perform housekeeping and periodic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Update equipment manuals, technical diagrams, and other documentation as necessary.
  • Manage assets and maintain an inventory of assets and materials in the Centre/laboratory.
  • Ensure Total Workplace Health and Safety in the workplace, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with licenses for hardware and software.
  • Prepare detailed reports on technical issues, maintenance work performed, and any incidents or accidents.
  • Work with the subject team to ensure requirements for Centre/laboratory lessons are set up.
  • Co-teach in Academic course delivery, internship, and project supervision, and competition coaching as assigned.
  • Support evening CET lessons and teaching staff and students during Centre/laboratory sessions.
  • Supervise student projects and support student engagement activities.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related fields.
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge in Electronics, Electrical systems, ACMV, BMS, Lift, and Escalator will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work well together in a team-oriented environment.
  • Candidate must demonstrate maturity and willingness to support school operations, even on off-office hours, as needed.
