Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Instructor in Psychology to join our team. As an Academic Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in the field of Psychology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and delivering lectures, tutorials, and discussion sections;
  • Supervising and coordinating teaching assistants and tutors;
  • Setting assessment components and marking examinations;
Required Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A Doctorate or Master's qualification in Psychology or a related field;
  • Demonstrated effective teaching and training of undergraduates;
  • Specializations in Personality Psychology, I/O Psychology, Bio-psychology, or Clinical Psychology are particularly welcome;
  • Evidence of excellence in teaching and/or clinical supervision is highly desirable;
  • Ability to contribute significantly to teaching and development of multiple undergraduate courses;
Selection Criteria

The following selection criteria are essential:

  • A Higher degree (PhD/DPhil/Masters) in Psychology or a related discipline;
  • Experience and interest in teaching undergraduate psychology students with a strong commitment to organizing and delivering teaching;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills relevant to teaching and pastoral care;
  • Willingness to contribute to the objectives of the Programme and School, working collaboratively with others;
