Job Description:

You will be part of an IT infrastructure support team managing mission-critical high-tech biometrics devices at critical locations of significant national interest. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the operational availability of these devices and maintain their optimal performance.

As a technical expert, you will be responsible for implementing, installing, and configuring PCs/workstations O.S., applications, and related peripheral devices.

You will provide first-level on-site IT support to end-users on 24x7 rotational shifts, including public holidays.

Additionally, you will perform daily health checks and inventory checks on systems, identifying any issues or areas for improvement.

Your expertise in installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PC/peripheral devices and application support will be essential in ensuring seamless operations.

Hands-on experience in supporting end-users in a Windows environment is required.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Prior exposure to IT operational environments is advantageous.
  • A strong team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Independent and self-motivated, with ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Certification in Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma, ideally with a focus/specialization in IT.
  • Keen interest in IT Service Management.
  • Willingness to work on rotations.
