Heavy Machinery Maintenance Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of heavy construction equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of machinery.
  • Lead a team of mechanics and yard crew to improve skills and efficiency in equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Inspect new machines and equipment for quality and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair, maintain, and operate heavy machinery and plant tools (mechanical and hydraulic systems).
  • Diagnose faults, recommend corrective actions, and supervise repair works.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of equipment and workshop processes to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance; more experienced candidates may be considered for senior roles.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, diagnostic techniques, and multiple machine brands.
