A dynamic and experienced hedge fund middle office operations manager is required to provide support for traders.
The role involves working closely with prime brokers, traders, and custodians to facilitate and settle trades for the business.
As a subject matter expert in middle and back office, you will help the front office to streamline operational processes and reduce risk.
Your key tasks include focusing on operational risk across MO/Ops teams, ensuring all controls and procedures are complied with, and streamlining operational processes to reduce risk and improve efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Risk Management: Focus on operational risk across MO/Ops teams which include (but not limited to) ETD, Listed, Exotic Derivatives and OTC Products.
- New Products / Initiatives: Ensure that all new products and initiatives are properly managed and controlled.
- Compliance: Ensure that all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and general company policies are complied with across all groups.
- Client Onboarding: On-board new clients through the client implementation process.
- AML/KYC: Ensure all AML/KYC documentations are in place for all accounts and whenever needed – customer due diligence are conducted.
To be considered, it is assumed you would have gained at least 8 years or more of asset management or hedge fund experience in a middle and back office capacity.
Highly motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and supervisory experience is required.
