Gallery Team Member Job Description

A role that requires a unique blend of interpersonal and operational skills, as you will be working closely with clients to ensure a seamless experience.

  • Ambassadors for the gallery's values, ensuring that all interactions are professional, friendly, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of visual appeal by ensuring the gallery is always neat and organized.
  • Support logistics for gallery displays and product samples, including setup and takedown.

Visitor & Client Support:

  • Greet visitors and attend to their inquiries, providing information about products on display.
  • Offer expert advice on gallery layout and assist with navigation.

Administration & Coordination:

  • Manage appointment bookings, calls, and emails, maintaining accurate records and communication.
  • Maintain records of client visits and sales leads, providing valuable insights for future marketing efforts.

Gallery Events:

  • Support the setup and takedown of events and gallery tours, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Assist with guest registration, refreshments, and general hospitality, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Provide logistical support during client events, ensuring timely delivery and execution.

Requirements:

  • O Levels or equivalent qualification.
  • 1 year experience in customer service or hospitality environment.
  • Friendly, professional, and client-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of design software or CRM is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • 4 weekdays (830AM - 530PM).
  • Saturdays (830AM - 430PM).
  • Sundays (930AM - 430PM).
  • One off day on a weekday.
