Maritime Operations Manager

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational functions within the maritime sector.

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations related to shipping, logistics, vessel management, and port operations within the designated region. Manage daily operation activities in the workshop, ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with safety and housekeeping requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to maritime safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices to minimize risk and ensure safety at sea. Develop procedures to enhance the workshop and traffic operation processes.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate marine logistics, including scheduling vessel movements, mechanics' schedules, cargo handling, and supply chain management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze operational efficiency, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor teams involved in various operational functions, including crew management, maintenance, and customer service.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments, regulatory bodies, and external partners to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
  • Strategic Development: Contribute to regional strategies that align with corporate goals, including expansion opportunities and cost optimization.
