Job Title: Cloud Optimization Specialist

Description:

This role involves leveraging your technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and application development to optimize system performance, scalability, and security. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan and manage cloud resources, ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the performance, availability, and security of application containers hosted on cloud platforms.
  • Automate software delivery to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams.

Application Optimization:

  • Coordinate application releases considering dependencies, timelines, and business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases ensuring smooth rollout and coordinate rollback procedures if necessary.
  • Optimize system performance and scalability ensuring applications can handle varying workloads and implement monitoring, incident response, and reliability best practices.

Cloud Infrastructure:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and manage cloud resources.
  • Work closely with security specialists to identify and address potential security risks associated with deployment and operation of application containers.
  • Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure components such as virtual machines, storage, and networking.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in AWS cloud.
  • Preferably AWS Certified Solution Architect.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for security and desire to continuously improve.
