Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled Operational Patient Liaison to join our team. As an Operational Patient Liaison, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical areas.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for arranging operating theatre and endoscopy centre lists efficiently, guaranteeing timely and organized daily scheduling.
  • You will confirm procedural appointments with patients for all surgical areas, providing clear communication and updates as needed.
  • You will offer solutions and advice to patient enquiries and their family members, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with department stakeholders to ensure a seamless patient journey throughout the procedure.
  • Maintain the Surgical Call Centre's readiness on downtime policies, with resources available in the clinic at all times.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and assume other responsibilities tasked by supervisors, showcasing your flexibility and adaptability.
  • Support supervisor in daily tasks and review work processes, contributing to the growth and development of the team.

Requirements:
  • You must possess at least 'A' Levels or Diploma, demonstrating your academic capabilities.
  • You should be proficient in Microsoft Office, utilizing your technical skills effectively.
  • You should be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
  • You should be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time efficiently.
  • You should be flexible with working in a hospital setting and different clinics when needed, adapting to changing circumstances.
  • You should be comfortable with shift work, demonstrating your ability to work flexible hours.
