
Railway System Integration Specialist

The Onsite Support Specialist will be responsible for testing, commissioning, and maintaining railway communication systems, with a focus on Video Surveillance. This role involves on-site system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and compliance verification.
Responsibilities:
- Perform test and commissioning activities for railway communication systems, particularly Video Surveillance.
- Witness and conduct system compliance and functionality verification tests.
- Prepare and update method statements, testing procedures, documentation, and configurations.
- Lead or participate in on-site installation, system configuration, and pre-commissioning test activities.
- Coordinate and execute on-site testing with customer representatives.
- Identify and troubleshoot system defects, developing tools and solutions for issue resolution.
- Document defects, test context, and communicate findings with design and engineering teams.
- Follow up on detected issues and ensure timely commissioning report delivery.
- Ensure all test tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Support IVVQ (Verification & Validation) activities and perform lab testing as required.
- Apply software engineering practices to improve system stability, security, and efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and railway safety standards.
- Diploma / ITE in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Able to work night shifts and weekends as required for railway projects.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and make necessary corrections.
- Previous experience in Testing & Commissioning of large rail infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Linux operating system internals and networking concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Python scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving approach with effective communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them in complex operational control systems.
