Leading Research on Climate-Air Quality Interactions

We are seeking an experienced researcher to lead our team's research on climate-air quality interactions at the Earth Observatory of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University.

The selected candidate will oversee the development and implementation of multi-scale atmospheric models to understand climate-air quality interactions and evaluate their impacts on human exposure, mosquito abundance, and soil acidity.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing research on air quality impacts of sectoral emissions and transboundary air pollution
  • Developing and implementing a response surface model
  • Analyzing model results of various air pollutants considering meteorological processes and chemical reactions
  • Documenting results in reports and publishing papers in peer-review international journals
Requirements
  • Ph.D. degree in atmospheric science, geography, meteorology, or environment
  • Experience in developing chemical transport models, especially sensitivity calculation
  • Publications in relevant work within the last 5 years
  • Excellent English language and communication skills
