Key Business Development Position

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a key role that requires strong relationship-building skills, business acumen, and the ability to identify new opportunities.

Job Description:

  • Build and maintain relationships with small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) clients to understand their financing needs and provide guidance on optimizing cash flow and working capital management.
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate high-quality business leads and referrals through broker channels, strategic alliances, and SME networks.
  • Provide solutions-oriented support to address client questions and concerns throughout the lending process.
  • Support clients in completing loan documentation and post-loan servicing.
  • Assist with assessing clients' financial health and credit standing.
  • Work closely with the credit team and collections manager to track payments/repayments, detect credit risk, and mitigate defaults.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in commercial banking, SME financing, or managing relationships with SMEs.
  • Demonstrated track record in SME lending, financial product sales, or business development within the banking or financial services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of SME financial reports, operational structures, and credit assessment methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's financial regulatory framework and lending practices.
