We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Specialist to assist the Shift Supervisor in daily plant operations. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment where you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of plant equipment and systems.
About the RoleThis position involves operating and monitoring plant equipment and systems on Distributed Control System (DCS) and performing on-site checks to ensure compliance with quality standards. You will also be responsible for carrying out routine sampling of process materials, conducting site inspections, and accurately logging operational data as required.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor plant equipment and systems: Ensure optimal performance of plant equipment and systems on DCS, perform on-site checks, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Routine sampling and inspections: Carry out routine sampling of process materials, conduct site inspections, and accurately log operational data as required.
- Maintenance and reporting: Perform regular checks and minor maintenance on production equipment, promptly reporting any abnormalities or malfunctions.
- Safety protocols: Follow all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Diploma/NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or related discipline.
- Working experience in petrochemical plant is an added advantage.
- Able to work rotating Day/Nite shifts.
