Accounting Expert
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a comprehensive set of financial accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports in accordance with established accounting standards.
  • Conduct thorough reconciliation of accounts, encompassing supplier, landlord, and intercompany balances.
  • Ensure adherence to finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Verify and review supplier invoices, supporting documents, and payment requests.
  • Maintain accurate record retention for all financial documents and audit schedules.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects, analysis, and assignments as required.
Requirements
  • A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in accounting/finance, with exposure to a comprehensive set of accounts.
  • Hands-on experience in the purchase order process and supplier/vendor management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
  • Proficient in accounting systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and another language due to the need to liaise with business associates.
  • Immediate availability to commence work will be an advantage.
