Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Café Service Professional to join our team As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, ensuring they feel valued and satisfied with their experience.
- Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare coffee-based beverages, teas, and food according to our unique recipes and procedures.
- Serving: Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Menu Knowledge: Have full knowledge of our menu to recommend specific items to customers and ensure they make informed choices.
- Cashiering: Perform cashiering duties accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Work Station Setup: Ensure work stations are set up before the shift commences, including equipment, utensils, and supplies.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of work areas, adhering to our high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Stock Management: Ensure sufficient stocks for daily operations, minimizing wastage and spoilage of food ingredients.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of service experience preferred but not necessary, as training will be provided to those without experience.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrate good work ethics, initiative, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Teamwork: Able to work independently and as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Availability: Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, with a 5 or 6-day alternating work week and 8 or 10-hour shifts based on roster.
