Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cost Analyst to partner with our operations, supply chain, and engineering teams.

This role requires extensive experience within a manufacturing plant environment, with in-depth expertise in bill of materials costing and headcount cost management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with finance teams to provide insightful analysis and drive product costing strategies.
  • Analyse and improve bill of materials accuracy, yield impact, and cost competitiveness.
  • Monitor and manage headcount costs, labour efficiency, and productivity metrics for workforce planning.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, variance analysis, and commentary on plant performance.
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, including cost drivers, manufacturing overheads, and capital expenditure planning.
  • Evaluate cost-saving initiatives, process efficiency projects, and investment cases with operations and engineering teams.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and accounting standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
  • At least 5–8 years of experience in finance and financial planning and analysis roles within manufacturing industries.
