Job Title

A Frontend Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the development and management of a frontend team within the E-Commerce Governance Service in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the construction of regional Global E-Commerce governance operations, driving product improvements across technology, user experience, and product functionality.
  • Develop the team's technical roadmap, maintain cutting-edge frontend technologies, and provide technical guidance to ensure smooth project progress and talent development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies), or related discipline.
  • At least 2+ years of experience managing or tech-leading a software engineering team.
  • Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in web frontend development with solid understanding of mainstream frontend frameworks and hands-on experience in developing high-performance web applications.
  • Strong capabilities in system design, engineering practices, and technical planning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with at least one backend language (Python, Java, Golang, or PHP) with experience in backend development.
  • Pursues excellence and perfection with a strong ability to analyze and extract the essence of problems.
  • Passionate about web development and new technologies with a track record or ambition to build outstanding products.
