This role is ideal for individuals who excel in managing complex bookings and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service, and working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
The Ticketing Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the entire ticketing process, from making reservations to handling changes and cancellations. This requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bookings and walk-in inquiries efficiently, ensuring timely resolutions and high-quality customer service.
- Process reservations, mileage redemptions, ticket issuance, schedule changes, re-bookings, and re-issuance accurately and promptly.
- Handle inquiries from passengers, agents, corporate clients, and BSPs via phone and email, providing clear and concise information.
Requirements:
- 2 years of relevant experience in airfares and reservations, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to work independently, stay patient, and perform under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Air Ticketing and GDS (Amadeus) is advantageous; knowledge of the Sabre system is beneficial.
