Job Title: Travel Booking Specialist

A vacancy exists for a skilled professional to manage bookings and handle inquiries, ensuring efficient ticketing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of airfares and reservations.

About the Role
  • This role involves managing bookings and walk-in inquiries, handling the entire ticketing process.
  • Making accurate bookings, reservations, confirmations, and changes for passengers.
  • Handling inquiries from passengers, agents, corporate clients, and BSPs via phone and email.
Responsibilities
  • Manage bookings, reservations, mileage redemptions, ticket issuance, schedule changes, re-bookings, and re-issuance efficiently.
  • Keep member accounts updated according to profile changes.
  • Inform clients about current promotions, provide program materials, and assist with forms.
  • Address feedback and complaints, coordinating with support to resolve issues.
  • Participate in strategic planning, including needs analysis and budget preparation.
  • Identify new business opportunities during team meetings.
  • Manage ticket handling and event logistics.
  • Stay updated on market trends, airline requirements, and industry changes.
Requirements
  • Two years of relevant experience with a good understanding of airfares and reservations.
  • Ability to work independently, stay patient, and perform under pressure.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Air Ticketing and GDS (Amadeus) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the Sabre system is beneficial.
