Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented and experienced researcher to join our team as a Research Fellow. As a Research Fellow, you will play a key role in advancing research in semiconductor device technologies, including LEDs, photodetectors, solar cells, transistors, and electrically driven single-photon diodes (SPDs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and fabricate semiconductor devices: Using cleanroom-based nanofabrication techniques, you will design and fabricate semiconductor devices for advanced optoelectronic applications.
  • Develop optical cavities: You will develop and integrate optical cavities for advanced optoelectronic devices.
  • Conduct characterization: You will conduct electrical, optical, and structural characterization of devices using state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Collaborate with the team: You will collaborate with team members, graduate students, and external partners on joint research projects.
  • Prepare publications: You will prepare research reports, high-impact journal publications, and conference presentations.


Requirements:
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field: A PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Strong hands-on expertise: You should have strong hands-on expertise in semiconductor device fabrication, including LEDs, photodetectors, solar cells, transistors, and electrically driven single-photon diodes (SPDs).
  • Proficiency in cleanroom processes: You should be proficient in cleanroom-based nanofabrication processes.
  • Experience in optical cavity design: You should have experience in optical cavity design and integration for optoelectronic devices.
  • Electrical and optical characterization: You should be skilled in electrical and optical characterization techniques.
