Job Title: Academic Programme Director

As an Academic Programme Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and delivery of academic programmes at our institution. This involves overseeing teaching, curriculum management, quality assurance, and partnerships with industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching:
  1. Deliver high-quality instruction to students, develop lesson plans, set and mark assignments, and provide timely feedback.
Curriculum Management:
  1. Design and regularly review curriculum to ensure alignment with industry and regulatory standards.
  2. Integrate innovative teaching methodologies and technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
Quality Assurance:
  1. Develop and maintain academic documentation.
  2. Lead the process of document control.
  3. Ensure institutional compliance with relevant standards.
Partnerships and Industry Engagement:
  1. Liaise with adjunct faculty, university partners, and industry stakeholders.
  2. Ensure curriculum and student learning remain industry-aligned.
  3. Support student internships, industrial visits, and guest lecture planning.
Requirements
  • Degree in Aviation or a relevant discipline (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in higher education or training.
  • ACTA / ACLP, IATA, or other recognised training certifications are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and academic administrative platforms.
  • Experience in academic quality assurance, accreditation, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
