The successful candidate will be responsible for invoice processing and accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms. The role also involves generating and issuing invoices to customers, monitoring bank account movements, and reconciling bank statements.

In addition, the Assistant Accountant will assist in the preparation of GST returns, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local tax laws, and maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing and Accounts Payable
  • Verify and process trade invoices for goods and services provided
  • Ensure trade invoices are accurate and in compliance with contractual terms
  • Resolve discrepancies and errors by liaising with vendors and operations teams

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and related accounting principles, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
