Job Title: Senior Equipment Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Equipment Engineer to lead our efforts in enhancing equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.

This role encompasses managing a team of equipment technicians, overseeing fault investigations, optimizing machine performance, and ensuring throughput targets are met.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment spare parts, reviewing maintenance controls and procedures, and driving cost reduction initiatives.

In addition, this role will involve Engineering automation projects, support on new engineering systems implementation to drive productivity improvement and error proofing, while maintaining existing system under care by the Engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead OEE Improvements: Drive initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) by identifying and addressing equipment performance bottlenecks and downtime issues.">
• Drive Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce costs related to equipment parts, maintenance, and operations while maintaining high-quality standards.">
• Continuous Equipment Improvements: Implement strategies for ongoing equipment enhancements, including upgrades, modifications, obsolescence mitigation to meet production goals in both short term and long term.">
• Mentor Equipment Folks: Mentor and lead a team of equipment engineers, associates and technicians in fault investigations, troubleshooting equipment issues.">
• Spare Parts Management: Maintain an inventory of critical equipment spare parts to minimize downtime and ensure the availability of necessary components.">
• Review Maintenance Controls and Procedures: Evaluate and improve maintenance controls and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.">
• Manage Engineering Automation Systems: Support in new application development and sustain all existing system including (application for PM, P R, Passdown, FDC and etc.).">
• Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the manager to support the overall success of the department.">

  • Experience in Wet Cleaning/Wet Etching processes within the semiconductor industry.">
  • Knowledge in Database (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.);">
  • Education: Bachelor's Field of Study: Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Science Years of Experience (Minimum): 9 years">
  • Preferred Qualifications: ATIS Wet Bench, Semitool SRD, 3M WSS system. PLC (Omron, Mitsubishi) program lookup, modification is advantageous Application experience in SECS-GEM configuration for process monitoring and data extraction. Dashboard/report creation with Power BI SPC Knowledge: Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and Six Sigma Green Belt certification is desirable demonstrating your commitment to quality and process improvement">

What You Will Bring:

As a Senior Equipment Engineer, you will have a strong background in wet cleaning/wet etching processes within the semiconductor industry.

You will possess knowledge in database management systems such as SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

Your educational background should include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Science.

A minimum of 9 years of experience in the field is required.

Preferred qualifications include expertise in ATIS Wet Bench, Semitool SRD, and 3M WSS system.

Additionally, experience with PLC programming, SECS-GEM configuration, and dashboard creation using Power BI would be advantageous.

Familiarity with statistical process control methods and six sigma green belt certification would be desirable.
