Job Title: Laboratory Analyst Leader

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced analytical professional to lead laboratory operations and provide technical support in fuels, chemicals, and other samples.

  • Develop and implement effective laboratory protocols to ensure accurate analysis of fuels, deposits, and chemical samples.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop suitable formulations, including package stability and no-harm testing, to drive business growth.
  • Maintain high-quality laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Provide expert technical support in analytical methods, PDS, MSDS, and PSS.
  • Oversee the quality function of AsPac (SAP) and AsPac toll blending facilities.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and bulletins on projects undertaken.
  • Manage test data and technical reports for easy reference.
  • Maintain efficient sample inventory systems for sending/receiving samples to/from customers.
  • Train new colleagues in laboratory analysis, data, and sample management best practices.
  • Coordinate product performance field testing in AsPac.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in analytical testing within an industrial laboratory environment, preferably in the petroleum/petrochemical/specialty chemical industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, understanding of chemistry, refining, and QC procedures.
  • Willingness to travel, cultural awareness, good communication skills, and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.
