Achieving Financial Excellence as a Senior Accountant
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver full-cycle accounting services, including month-end closing, year-end closing and bank reconciliation.
- Develop and maintain accurate financial reports, such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, cash flow statement, and other ad-hoc reports as required.
- Ensure timely submission of corporate tax, GST, and other statutory filings.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting procedures, internal & credit controls.
- Verify the accuracy of financial statements and adhere to corporate reporting deadlines.
- Collaborate with external auditors and work towards resolving any discrepancies.
- Analyze, compile, and present management information for informed decision making.
- Identify and calculate both financial and non-financial performance measures for reporting on organizational performance.
- Engage with Operations team on project budgeting and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's accounting standards, tax law, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in full set of Accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
