Storage Solutions Specialist

Job Overview: The Storage Solutions Specialist plays a vital role in managing and maintaining the integrity of an organization's storage infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing thorough reviews of current configurations to identify areas for improvement, and recommending changes to optimize performance based on industry best practices.
  • Testing and verifying new configurations, patches, or software releases to ensure they meet strict requirements.
  • Managing changes by participating in planning, approval, and implementation processes.
  • Creating detailed operational reports using provided tools.
  • Assisting with capacity measurement and planning, including forecasting future needs.
  • Identifying and addressing vulnerabilities found in storage hardware and software products.
  • Developing technical plans for future initiatives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT storage environments.
  • Familiarity with storage infrastructure and data migration.
  • Practical experience with storage hands-on configuration and data migration.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery, backup solutions, and data migration concepts.
  • Daily monitoring skills and ability to support incidents/issues.
  • Basics in OS concepts of Windows/Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong customer focus and multi-tasking abilities.
