Procurement Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement of raw materials and spare parts, develop strategic purchasing initiatives, and collaborate with suppliers.

  • Manage local and overseas procurement of raw materials and spare parts.
  • Develop purchasing strategies to reduce costs and lead times.
  • Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Handle banking documents for financing and assist finance with PO billing issues.
  • Prepare purchasing reports and maintain approved vendor lists.
  • SOURCE AND REVIEW VENDORS; NEGOTIATE FOR BEST PRICING.
  • Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery; prepare import and marine insurance documents as needed.
  • Collaborate with vendors and quality assurance for rejected materials, and support ISO audits.
  • Ensure compliance with product safety requirements.
Requirements
  • Diploma or GCE 'O' Level qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing and banking documentation.
  • Skilled in Strategic Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Vendor Management, and Banking Documentation.
