Research Collaboration Specialist

This role plays a key part in supporting research activities, particularly in the area of research collaborations within an Academic Medical Centre.

The successful candidate will have expertise in managing complex research agreements and ensuring timely execution. They will also be responsible for leading contract negotiations, ensuring compliance and risk management, and driving efficient contract processing while maintaining high governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the review, negotiation, and execution of research collaboration agreements.
  • Lead contract negotiations with various stakeholders, including academic institutions, industry partners, and Singapore Public Sector parties.
  • Ensure compliance and risk management in contract development and execution.
  • Drive efficient contract processing, maintaining high standards of governance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in healthcare or science related fields, with 6 to 8 years' relevant work experience.
  • Ability to understand grant application requirements, scientific and clinical terms, and medical jargon.
  • Candidates with experience in administrative positions, drafting, and facilitating research agreements are preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
