Commercial Kitchen Equipment Specialist

The primary function of this role is to work with the design and engineering team to manufacture, assemble and test commercial kitchen equipment.
This includes:
- Assembling and installing equipment according to technical specifications and blueprints;
- Conducting functionality tests and quality checks on products before shipment;
- Troubleshooting and repairing faulty units during the manufacturing or pre-delivery phase;
- Working with components such as burners, valves, thermostats, control panels, and gas/electric systems;
- Interpreting technical drawings, manuals, or schematics;
- Collaborating with the design and engineering team to improve product performance;
- Maintaining tools, machines, and testing equipment in good working condition;
- Ensuring all products meet local safety standards and international compliance if required.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills and be able to read technical documents. It's also beneficial to have experience with electrical/mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
Negotiation skills are highly valued in this role as well.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Minimum 2–3 years experience as a technician in equipment manufacturing or electrical/mechanical assembly;
- Strong understanding of food service equipment design and components;
- Able to read technical documents, including language manuals;
- Skilled in basic electrical work, gas fittings, metalwork, and mechanical assembly;
- Experience with safety standards related to food-grade or commercial kitchen products;
- Familiarity with testing procedures for gas pressure, heat levels, and electrical continuity;
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance for food equipment.
- Hands-on experience with Chinese kitchen equipment;
- Knowledge of negotiation techniques.
