IT Infrastructure Leadership Opportunity

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure team, ensuring optimal performance and scalability of network, server/storage and cloud systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Infrastructure Optimization: Ensure infrastructure capacity meets current and future needs through effective monitoring and upgrades.
  • Infrastructure Administration: Oversee the administration of servers, networks, storage, databases and cloud systems, including timely backups and patching.
  • IT Operations Support: Provide end-user support, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and services.
  • Network & Server Management: Lead the deployment and support of on-premise and cloud-based servers and network infrastructures.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement cybersecurity controls and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Risk & Recovery Planning: Conduct risk assessments and develop Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Incident Response plans.
  • Team Management: Manage the recruitment, training and performance of the IT infrastructure team, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science/Engineering or related fields with at least 8 years in IT infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge in network administration, server management, cloud platforms, virtualization and cybersecurity – professional certifications would be an added advantage.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing high-performing technical teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex IT infrastructure issues.
  • Effective verbal and written communication of technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
