At our organization, we are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site safety supervision and be able to ensure the well-being of our employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement effective safety programs that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Regularly inspect work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and verify proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Deliver comprehensive safety training sessions to site workers on safe practices and emergency procedures.
- Investigate workplace incidents or near-misses, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for falls, injuries, or adverse weather conditions.
- Communicate and coordinate with site management and other trades to ensure safety standards are understood and upheld.
- Maintain accurate records of site inspections, training sessions, safety incidents, and regulatory compliance.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction site safety supervision.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations (WSH Act, CP79, etc.).
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in curtain wall or façade installation safety is an advantage.
