**Job Role:** Technical Banking Specialist

Key responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SWIFT messaging systems. This involves ensuring the smooth operation and high availability of banking infrastructure.

A technical banking specialist will work closely with business teams, operations, and technology to ensure seamless integration, configuration, and support of SWIFT messaging services.

  • Technical banking specialists will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining SQL scripts, shell scripts, and automation tools for monitoring and reporting.
  • They will also perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and provide production support for SWIFT infrastructure.

Requirements for the role include strong hands-on experience with SWIFT AMH, good understanding of SAA setup and administration, proficiency in SQL (Oracle/SQL Server) and scripting (Shell, Perl, or Python), and solid knowledge of SWIFT messaging flows (MT/MX, ISO20022, FIN, FileAct, InterAct).

The ideal candidate will have good analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure in production support environments, and familiarity with high-availability and disaster recovery setups.
