Job Title: SWIFT Expertise Specialist

  • The role involves managing SWIFT connectivity, supporting message integration, ensuring compliance with security standards, and implementing routing rules to monitor message flows, system health, and error logs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for SWIFT products and messaging platforms, configuring and managing SWIFTNet connectivity, VPNs, TLS, and certificate lifecycles.
  • Support onboarding and end-to-end integration of SWIFT MT/MX messages, collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain SWIFT CSP controls.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams on OS hardening, firewall configurations, secure channels, provide support during testing and audits.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of MT/MX message types, ISO 20022, message validation, and routing; familiarity with high-value payment systems (MEPS+, RTGS, CBPR+).
  • Expertise in RMA management, BIC configuration, FIN/FileAct/InterAct channels, experience with Oracle or SQL Server for querying and reporting SWIFT messages.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix/Windows server administration, scripting, system hardening, strong understanding of networking, firewall configuration, VPNs, and TLS security.

  • Hands-on experience with SWIFT CSP implementation and annual attestation processes, knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, incident response, and compliance audits.

  • Strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Candidates should have a passion for technology, be highly motivated, have a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
