Job Description

The Storekeeper/Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and issuance of renovation materials. The successful candidate must have attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure smooth material flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming materials to verify quantity and quality match purchase orders
  • Label and store materials with bilingual tags
  • Organize inventory according to FIFO and category-specific zoning
  • Issue materials based on internal requisitions and update inventory records
  • Monitor and report low stock levels, coordinate replenishment with purchasing team
  • Handle and safekeep green-certified or fire-rated materials per BCA compliance
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety; conduct daily checks for risks
  • Support documentation including delivery orders, material certificates, and stock records
  • Collaborate with project team to prepare materials in advance
  • Participate in monthly stock counts and variance reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum N/O Level or equivalent, preferably with warehouse/logistics certification. They must have 1-2 years of experience in warehouse/storekeeping roles, preferably in construction or renovation.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with inventory systems (e.g., Excel, ERP/SAP)
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin
  • Basic CAD reading skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify material mismatches or quality issues
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual material movement
  • Team player with good time management and organizational skills
