Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and executing events that raise awareness and engage external stakeholders. Your goal will be to create moments that matter through food drives, major campaigns, school outreach, and community events.

In this dual reporting line role, you will conceptualize and execute wide-ranging events, including fundraising galas, community roadshows, and volunteer appreciation events. You will manage event logistics, ensure events align with our corporate brand, vision, mission, and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and Execution of Events: Conceptualise and execute a wide range of events, manage event logistics, including vendor partnerships, budgets, and program flow
  • Volunteer Engagement: Develop and implement strategies for volunteer recruitment, engagement, and retention, maintain volunteer databases and manage volunteer-related data

To succeed in this role, you will require strong people skills, excellent organisational and project management abilities, with attention to detail, and be comfortable speaking in front of groups and managing logistics on the ground. A passion for social causes and a desire to make a difference in the community is essential.
