Project Coordinator Job Description

The primary responsibility of a Project Coordinator is to oversee the planning and execution of projects from inception to completion. This involves ensuring seamless coordination with various stakeholders, including owners, consultants, and main contractors.

A seasoned professional in this role will be responsible for maintaining and forecasting project budgets, as well as discussing financial matters with management.

  • Must be able to handle design for chilled water systems for ACMV works and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Attend relevant meetings and ensure on-site coordination runs smoothly.
  • Liaise with internal and external project stakeholders, such as owners, consultants, main contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, highlighting key milestones, progress, and developments to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide effective leadership to project teams by delegating tasks and resources efficiently to achieve project goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and building owners.
  • Oversee site installation, including manpower allocation, problem-solving, and coordination with other trades. Additionally, manage HSE and safety requirements.
  • Assist with tendering, quotations, and variation orders for projects.
