Job Title: Senior Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive to join our team at Care Corner Seniors Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Active Ageing Centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

General Operations:

  • Ensure compliance with operational rules and guidelines, prioritizing the safety of seniors and staff.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain operational standards, directives, and KPIs.
  • Effectively handle crises and initiate reporting procedures as needed.

Programme Planning and Management:

  • Develop and manage programmes for intergenerational, outdoor, interest-based activities, and wellness engagement.
  • Coordinate with volunteers and community partners to plan and execute programmes effectively.
  • Advocate for and enrol seniors in programmes to promote regular engagement.

Befriending & Buddying (B&B) Programme:

  • Oversee the intake and referral process for seniors seeking befriending/buddying services.
  • Screen, deploy, and evaluate befriender-to-befriendee matches.
  • Organize quarterly befriender meetings and coordinate training sessions as needed.

Outreach & Community Screening Tool (CST):

  • Plan and participate in outreach to seniors.
  • Facilitate the administration of CPPF, obtain informed consent, and conduct CST for potential members.

Volunteer Management & Community Partnership:

  • Contribute to volunteer role design, recruitment, training, deployment, engagement, and appreciation.
  • Recruit volunteers and work with community partners to support AAC services.

Information & Referral:

  • Attend to walk-in, phone, and text enquiries and correspondence.
  • Manage referrals and consult the Reporting Officer as needed.
  • Provide service linkage and information on relevant schemes, grants, and support available for clients and their caregivers.

Data Management & Administrative Support:

  • Track AAC KPIs, including the administration of CST and programme participation.
  • Ensure confidentiality of clients' data and record it in the respective data management systems.
  • Provide administrative support, including claims processing and tracking expenses and income of funded programmes.

Centre Operations & Facilities Management:

  • Ensure the smooth and optimal running of the centre, including maintenance of fixed assets and environmental sanitation.
  • Alert Alarm System (AAS) Management (if applicable).

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in relevant disciplines such as Community Care and Social Service, Gerontology, or other relevant fields in Social Sciences.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the Seniors sector, including at least 2 years in a supervisory position at an Active Ageing Centre.
  • Candidates with prior experience volunteering with seniors in a community setting are preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and/or dialects is essential.
  • Proficient in IT.
  • Resourceful, proactive, responsible, and client-centric.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with strong planning and organizing skills.
