Middleware Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled Middleware Administrator to join our team. As a Middleware Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of middleware technologies such as Tomcat, JBoss, and Connect:Direct. You will also perform middleware deployments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, as well as monitor and ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of middleware environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, administer, and support middleware technologies including Tomcat, JBoss, and Connect:Direct.
  • Perform middleware deployments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Monitor and ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of middleware environments.
  • Apply patches, upgrades, and perform version management for middleware platforms.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to support application deployment and integration.
  • Implement and maintain security configurations, user access, and compliance controls.
  • Perform root cause analysis for middleware-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and standards.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution for middleware systems.


Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in Middleware Administration and Installation.
  • Strong expertise in Tomcat and JBoss administration.
  • Hands-on experience with various middleware technologies.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and SSL certificates is a plus.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
